This year's speaker is Francesco Cassata, Professor of History of Science at the University of Genoa. The event will take place in Centro Incontri of Regione Piemonte at 5.30 p.m.

Every fall, the Primo Levi Lecture proposes a discussion on particular topics of Levi’s works, as they become relevant within the most recent topics of the cultural debate. The Lecture is addressed to the general public, but pays particular attention to the younger generations, with the goal of continuing the intense dialogue that Levi used in schools to engage others for such a long period of his life. This year, some classes of the "Liceo Scientifico di Scienze Applicate Giordano Bruno" Institute will attend in the Lecture, and meet the lecturers the following day, in order to discuss the topics covered in the Lecture.
The Lecture will then be published and printed in Italian and English by Einaudi.
