A new edition of the Rapporto su Auschwitz, limited to 400 numbered copies, and the Fifth Primo Levi Lecture.

Presentation of the new edition of Rapporto su Auschwitz

The Center has promoted the publication, for the first time in a separate volume, of the Rapporto sulla organizzazione igienico-sanitaria del campo di concentramento per Ebrei di Monowitz (Auschwitz-Alta Slesia), written by Primo Levi and Leonardo De Benedetti in 1945.

Thanks to the precious contribution of Einaudi publishers, the Rapporto will come out as a small finely crafted volume in an edition limited to 400 numbered copies and offered exclusively to those who are willing to support the Center with a contribution.

The book will be introduced to members of the general public and press on Wednesday, November 6 2013 at 5:30 PM in the conference room of the National Cinema Museum (at the Mole Antonelliana), featuring several local speakers who will take turns reading significant passages.

    The Fifth Primo Levi Lecture

The Lecture is addressed to the general public, but pays particular attention to the younger generations, with the goal of continuing the intense dialogue that Levi used in schools to engage others for such a long period of his life.

This year's speaker is Anna Bravo, historian and author, with Federico Cereja, of the interview to Primo Levi published in Intervista a Primo Levi, ex deportato, Einaudi, Torino 2011.
The Lecture will then be published and printed in Italian and English by Einaudi.
